Sr. Analyst-


It is an exciting time to join the Data Services & Analytics team at Li & Fung: our data platform is nimble and evolving and we are in the defining a very exciting data product roadmap.  Our team consist of data scientists, analysts and engineers.  We work collaboratively on high-impact initiatives - whether it is a new modeling technique delivering better predictions, a new analysis and visualization highlighting weak spots in our pipelines, or new tools that can help the company’s workflow. We’re looking for a hands-on Analytics Engagement Leader who can work with staff in multiple locations, engage with business, derive requirements, hands on work on projects, develop a plan of attack, and come up with a practical solution. 





  • Partner with stakeholders across the organization to identify high-impact opportunities to leverage our extensive data to better serve our customers
  • Drive cross functional analytics projects from beginning to end
  • Build relationships with partner teams, frame and structure questions, collect and analyze data, as well as summarize and present key insights in support of decision making
  • Communicate key results to senior management in verbal, visual, and written media
  • Drive the requirements to help shape the data product roadmap
  • Assess the potential usefulness and validity of new statistical approaches and data sources
  • Build models to substantially improve and continuously optimize supply chain processes
  • Rapidly develop proof-of-concept prototypes to prove out hypotheses
  • Project manage / guide implementation of Analytical Solutions

Skills and Requirements



  • A degree (B.S., M.S., PhD.), preferably in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Sciences, Economics, Supply Chain or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of consulting experience and driving client engagements
  • 5+ years programming experience
  • Highly analytical and quantitative, with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, interruptive environment
  • Understanding of SDLC including Agile practice
  • Good SQL skills: extensive experience querying large, complex data sets.
  • Comfortable with scripting and data visualization using at least one of the following tools/languages: Excel, Tableau, Python, R
  • Interactive data exploration knowledge using Python/R
  • Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, and Spark is a big plus
  • Creative thinking & problem solving skills
  • Good communication & writing skills
  • Ability to eloquently form an argument backed up by data
  • Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as work collaboratively toward a common goal
  • Good client management skills with a strong grasp of both technical and business perspectives
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
