  • Specific Responsibilities

    LF Americas, a US based division of Li & Fung, is seeking a Creative Director of Marketing.   We are  multi-classification experts in Private Label swimwear, dress shirts, cut and sew knits, soft wovens, sportswear across womenswear and menswear - at all levels of retail from department stores, specialty to mass retailers.

     

     

    CREATIVE/BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

    -Develop concepts and pitches with clear POV bringing ideas to life with the potential to translate into meaningful business

    -Manage and direct creative team on outputs that support PL/ own brand business development (new programs with existing customers and new customer acquisition)

    -Whitespace ideation, Brand creation, photoshoots, video sizzles, presentation booklets, lookbooks, product mockups, packaging, in store assets, corporate presentations etc.

    -Ensure presentation pitches are brand-right and priced appropriately

    -Generate insight resources (Consumer demographic and Psychographic) to extended global groups

    -Art direction

    -Copy writing and editing for all presentations and packaging    

    B2C Direct to Consumer Ecommerce

    -Continued storytelling and brand positioning

    -Brand building and development (messaging aligned across all channels)

    -Visual asset creation and upload

    -Content creation for social media channels (blogs, YouTube, Snapchat, Pinterest, Facebook and Instagram)

    -Crowd sourcing

    -Direct digital strategy and manage 3rd parties to accomplish deliverables

    -Establish and monitor KPIs and learnings

     

    OPERATIONAL

    -Project management- Strategize with President and utilize PM software to prioritize project and balance workflow on a financial $ benefit or brand equity basis

    -Coordinate shared resources (photo studio, back catalogue projects, equipment and supplies)

    -Outsource and direct external parties when needed (photographer, printer)

    -Outline and adhere to approved annual budgets

    -Ongoing analysis of project success rate

    -Work closely with multidisciplinary project teams

    -Build and maintain relationships with leadership and stakeholders

    -Manage and cultivate the career development of creative team

    -Source and direct talent as needed

    -Creates and executes marketing strategies for business and brands including the management of 3rd party resources

    -Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to creative team

    -On trend and ahead of the curve inspiring original and relevant design and visuals

    -Maintain and manage LF Americas brand image and reputation through omni channel experience (website and social)

     

     

    Skills and Requirements

    -Bachelor's degree in related field , preferably in retail and/or apparel experience. 

    -Strong retail relationships

    -Fluency in project management, communication and creative software (Asana, slack, Adode C suite )

    -Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

    -Self Starter

    -Strong social media acumen

    -Plethora of creative ideas and an understanding of the business and customer

    -Multi-tasking/Deadline Oriented
