    Lornamead, Inc. is a US division of the LF Beauty organization, which is a large international division of global Li & Fung. We manufacture and supply hair care, skin care, oral care, and bath products in the United States and Canada. The product categories include toothpastes, teeth whitening products and oral analgesics for drug chains, and national food retailers. The company is headquartered in New York, with a manufacturing facility in Tonawanda, New York.

     

    We are looking for Chemical Compounders- Batchers for our manufacturing location in Tonawanda, New York.

     

    Responsibilities include:

     

    • Prepare raw materials for compounding
    • Follow Batch Records to mix materials for production batches
    • Verify the material components, item numbers, lot numbers and weights
    • Document all required processing information
    • Work with packaging personnel to transfer bulk product from compounding area to packaging area
    • Assemble and disassemble transfer lines, trace lines, insulated jacket and pumps required
    • Clean all related equipment to ensure batches meet quality control standard.
    • Document and maintain specified log books

     

     

    Skills and Requirements

    Experience, Skills

    • 2+years of applicable experience in FDA, pharmaceuticals, food or similar industry
    • Experience with operating systems controlled by HMI (Human Machine Interface), Rockwell RS Batch and RS View software for computer controlled operations, Batch Programming and Control Schemes in C++
    • Experience with automated raw material delivery systems, Steam, Condensate, Chilled Water, Compressed air utility functions and installations
    • Other experience in performing or participating in new equipment installations, validations, and startups is a plus.
